January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop - This Moment

Welcome to the January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

This month I am following {Melissa Robinson's Blog.}   We have over 50 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.   If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

The January Stamp of the Month is entitled This Moment (S1501) (Set of 12). Here is a picture of this stamp set:

The January Stamp Set has images that can be cut with out Cricut Artbooking.  Can you say A-W-E-S-O-M-E?  Perfect for Valentine's Day and quite unique.  So much fun to play with the bullseye stamped image.

One of my fellow Close to My Heart Consultants used our Cut Above Treat Bag Kits to make Christmas cards last month and it was super adorable so I decided to bust out the Valentine Treat Bag Kit pictured below and paired it with the January Stamp of the Month Stamp Set to make some Valentine Cards.  Wait until you see what I do with the stickers!  I didn't use them for the cards but you can decorate your envelopes with them or stop by tomorrow to see what I make with them.

My first card is pictured below.

Where or where do I start?  So much is on this card.

Well, I found a new way to scallop our shimmer trim.  I actually applied the Silver Shimmer Trim to the card front at the bottom and then scalloped the edge.  So much easier!  I used the January Stamp of the Month for all of the stamped images.  The bullseye is stamped on the inside of the card and shows through the window.  I applied one of our new puffies as the heart inside the bullseye.  Add some of our Pixie extra thick twine and voila!  I am done with a super cute card!

Here is the inside of the card.

And here is my second card.  You get two different patterns in the Valentine treat bag kit.  I love the red and the pink pattern and embellished with the Black Shimmer Trim.  I added some black stars from the Scaredy Cat Assortment and made a much simpler card.  I have been trying to decide whether to add something else to it but my husband really likes this one better so I have left it alone for now.

And the inside of my card.  Check out the arrow washi tape!

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to show me a little love by leaving me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Michelle Stewart's Blog} and see what she has made with this adorable stamp set.

The Cutie Pie Stamp Set can be purchased for $17.95 or if you purchase $50 in CTMH products, you can add this stamp set to your order for an additional $5.  This stamp set is only available between January 1 – January 31, 2015.

Happy Holidays from Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop

Welcome to the December Happy Holidays from Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop.  This month I am following  {Di Crawford.}

Our blog hop is a circular hop.  You just click on the link to the next blog at the bottom of this post and go visit the next blog.  If you get lost, I have all of the participating blogs listed at the bottom of my post.  Hope you enjoy seeing what our team has made for you.

This month our Stampers with an Attitude are showcasing Holiday artwork.

Christmas is in the air!  I  belong to a card swap and our theme this month was Christmas cards.  I have a customer who wanted to see some artwork using this stamp set, Best Christmas (D1613), so I set out to make this card.

I am stuck on the Close to My Heart Snowhaven paper pack.  Love the colors!  Can we please have another month of Christmas so that I can use the Yuletide Carol paper pack?

Can't have a plain border so I took the star stamps and stamped them with Glacier Ink and second generation Slate Ink.

The inside of the card is entirely decorated with stamping.  Amazing what you can do with just stamps and some ink!

I want to thank you for visiting my blog.  The next very talented artist for you to visit on our blog hop is {Denise Elliott}.

The Totes are Here, the Totes are Here!

I am in LOVE!!!  Shhhh!  Don't tell my husband.

I loved my old Close to My Heart Rolling Tote.  Maybe a little too much.  For the past two years my rolling tote has been on its last wheels.  Actually the wheels still worked.  It was the blasted handle that would not pull up when I took it out of the car.  And then when I packed it back up, the handle would not go down.  I needed a new tote.

I knew that Close to My Heart was developing a new rolling tote, so I waited and waited and waited.  The new organization system came out and I loved them and used them.  I work out of my organizers so when the time comes to go to a crop, I just load them into my car.  But I was still missing a rolling tote.

It is finally here!  I got to visit it at a Director's training session in Salt Lake City and even take it for a test drive.  It rolls well and even packed to the brim, does not weigh much.  It will be lighter than my previous rolling tote.  Instead of trying to get my organizers into the tote, they will fit right in.  Did I say that I am in LOVE?

What do I love about this tote?  Look at the beautiful color.  So stylish.  The cute heart dangle with the bling is right down my alley.  So many pockets!!!  I will be able to carry everything I need yet have it right at arm's reach.  The Rolling Tote retails for $149.95.  Just in time for Christmas.  I know what I am going to find under the tree.  The organizers are sold separately and are a great deal as well!

Now don't forget the new Shoulder Tote.  It coordinates beautifully with the Rolling Tote.

See the new totes in action in the video below then order your totes on www.melindaeveritt.ctmh.com.

Close to My Heart Seasonal Expressions 1 Blog Hop

Welcome to the Close to My Heart Seasonal Expressions 1 Blog Hop!

 I am following {Donna Digby's Blog.}   We have over 35 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in our Close to My Heart Seasonal Expressions 1 Blog Hop.   If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found here.

Here is my card.

I have used our super adorable Hopscotch Paper Pack from the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalog.  The stamp set is called Rain or Shine (D1634).  Did you know that we now have WHITE Shimmer Trim?  Oh the possibilities!  I am in love!!!  It adds a little bit of elegance to my card, I do believe.

My husband picked up my card and asked about the writing behind the stamped images.  This piece of patterned paper is actually an old dress pattern.  I find that makes my cards less flat when the stamped images are stamped on patterned paper with a faint design.

Close to My Heart's patterned paper is so beautiful that you don't miss the embellishments.  The only embellishment on my card is the White Shimmer trim.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love for you to leave me a comment and then please go to our next artist, {Melissa Robinson's Blog.}

You can purchase any of the supplies listed below on my website.
