Exotic Flower Card

I wanted to share this beautiful card that my downline, Aimee Berliner, made.  Aimee is so talented and has a great eye for design.  Here is her card.

Aimee stamped her card with one of our Hostess stamps, Exotic Flower (B1477).  She embossed it with our gold embossing powder.  This stamp set is so intricate and really pops on our Black Cardstock.  What a beautiful, elegant card.

Confetti Wishes Birthday Layout

I have for you today a wild and crazy birthday layout.  The colors are bright and happy and are perfect for a birthday celebration.  Here you go!

I used the Close to My Heart Confetti Wishes paper pack and Complements.  Don't you just love it?

The Pacifica colored starbursts were cut using the Close to My Heart Cricut Artbooking Collection.  I cut two of them and then cut them in half.

Look at those super cute stickers.  The title came from the Complements as well.  Did I ever tell you that our stickers are made from cardstock?  So much nicer than those thin stickers that look like something our elementary school teachers graded our papers with.

Confetti Wishes is on our retiring list, so it is while supplies last.  Don't miss out.  You can purchase any of the supplies I used on my website:  http://melindaeveritt.ctmh.com

Have I ever said that I love being a Close to My Heart Consultant?

One of the reasons I love being a Consultant is that I have lots of scrapbooking products within reach.  I don't have to travel to one of my neighborhood craft stores when I get in the mood to be crafty.

When I saw these pictures, I knew that I had the perfect paper and embellishments to showcase them.  Here is my layout.

The story behind this layout is Tweet was a sparrow and fell out of its nest and was raised by a little girl.  She let the bird go when it got older, but it would come back to the little girl whenever she came outside of her house.

I used the now retired Close to My Heart Skylark paper pack, complements and embellishments.  I took the bird from the Close to My Heart Cricut Artiste Collection and "hid" the wing that would normally be cut out.  I love being able to do that with my Cricut Explore!  Then I used the Close to My Heart Artbooking Collection font to spell out Tweet.  I welded the bird to the top of Tweet so my cute little bird is perched on top of the "T".

I cut Tweet out twice.  Once in Lagoon cardstock and once in Desert Sand cardstock.  I layered the Lagoon on top of the Desert Sand, but then shifted it slightly so my title has dimension and looks like it is distressed.

I love the blue and green colors and I added a lot of embellishments.  The words at the bottom came from the decorative zip strip from the top of one of the 12" x 12" patterned papers.  I added some mini staples as embellishment on the ends of the zip strip.

SWAA Summer/Vacation Blog Hop

Welcome to July's Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop.  Our theme this month is Summer or Vacation.  This month I am following  {Catherine Nowak.}  Who is the Stampers with an Attitude?  It is the Close to My Heart team lead by my fabulous upline, Kimberly Moss.

Our blog hop is a circular hop.  You just click on the link to the next blog at the bottom of this post and go visit the next blog.  If you get lost, I have all of the participating blogs listed at the bottom of my post.  Hope you enjoy seeing what our team has made for you.

I decided to use the colors of summer for my card.  I also cut the sun shape using my Close to My Heart Cricut Artbooking Collection. Lately I have been playing with our Paper Fundamentals line.  These are papers that have an embossed pattern on one side and the same pattern printed on the other side.  It is so much fun to play with!  This card has an overload of our Paper Fundamentals line.  Hope you like it!

I colored my sweet kitty with our ShinHan markers.  Couldn't resist adding a few gold sequins!

I used the card sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #278.  I will be linking this card to that challenge.

I flipped the sketch a little to accommodate my cute little orange kitty I stamped using the Close to My Heart stamp set, Friendly Pets (B1481).

I want to thank you for visiting my blog.  The next very talented artist for you to visit on our blog hop is {Wendy Taylor}.

I have been hankering to use the stamp set, Sweet as Sugar (D1615), one of the Hostess Reward Sets from our Annual Inspirations Catalog.  I paired it with our awesome Paper Fundamentals line and here is what I came up with.

I used my favorite tool to make this card, my Cricut Explore and my Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut Collection and my Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut Collection. Here is a link to my Design Space file.

Thank you for visiting my blog.
